「五經研讀小組」信條

• 上帝（聖父、聖子及聖靈）以祂的慈愛吸引人歸向祂。
• 祂以「約」去維繫這份關係。
• 從這個約而來的愛，祂把祂的Torah賜給我們，教導我們甚麼是美善、我們應該怎樣向祂盡心、怎樣建立人與人的互信。
• 約有兩方面：祝福及咒詛。人犯了罪，觸怒了上帝，招致約的咒詛。
• 上帝信實的守著這個約，以祂的兒子耶穌──我們神聖的救贖主──作為挽回的方法。耶穌道成為肉身，住在我們中間。
• 耶穌的生活以Torah／上帝為中心，他是美善的，盡忠於天父。他叫我們相信他的話語和要跟隨他。
• 耶穌死在十字架上，成為永遠的贖罪祭，他的血潔淨我們的罪，他親自承擔了所有咒詛，使我們可以再次歸向天父。
• 因為上帝是超越死亡的，所以耶穌復活了；我們因此有復活的盼望，可以跟上帝永遠在一起。藉著跟主耶穌聯合，我們可以剛強壯膽地面對試探和苦難。
• 作為耶穌的門徒，在聖靈的帶領下，藉由耶穌的生命及教導所彰顯的Torah，我們去研讀Torah，受指導怎樣活出美好、向上帝盡忠的生活。
• 「主啊！我願你來。」

• God (Father, Son and the Holy Spirit) draw man to Himself in His loving kindness.
• He “tied” this relationship with a covenant.
• In His covenantal love He gave us the Torah to teach us what is good and how to be faithful to Him and to one another.
• Covenant has 2 sides, blessings and curses. Man sinned against the Lord and fell into the curses of the covenant.
• God is faithful to the convenant, he take the redemptive act by giving us His Son, Yeshua, our Divine Messiah. Yeshua came in flesh and dwelt among us.
• Yeshua lived a Torah/God centered life, He is good and faithful to the Father and Yeshua asked us to believe His Words and walk after Him!
• Upon the Cross Yeshua died as an eternal sacrifice, His blood cleansed our sins, He took all the curses upon Himself so that we can once again draw near to the Father.
• Yeshua rose because God is greater than death, so that we have hope of resurrection and we shall be with God forever. Now uniting ourselves with Yeshua, boldly we stand firm before temptations and sufferings.
• As the disciples of Yeshua and under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we study the Torah as manifested from the teaching and living of Yeshua, so that we can be instructed to be good and faithful to our God!
